When I first met Kim and John they talked about their love cooking classes and cooking up fun things, so I couldn’t have been more game when Kim said she was going to figure out how to get us into one of the BCAE kitchen’s for an engagement shoot. Well, she made it happen and next thing you know we were in a fantastically huge kitchen at the Boston Center for Adult Education.
The folks at the BCAE were kind enough to let Kim and John have their engagement shoot in the kitchen, as long as they received some photos from me for use in their new brochures and marketing materials. How could I say no to a non-profit that is doing such great things and educating people about all kinds of good stuff? So while I did some shooting, Kim and John cooked us all a fabulous lunch, awesomeness!!
I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in the spring, there is going to be some good BBQ going on, and the venue is one that Maarit and I looked at when we were thinking of staying in Massachusetts for our wedding – Chester’s at Bell Tower Square in Lowell. It is a renovated mill building and I just love old stuff that has lots of character!
So, here are some images – there was something about the kitchen (even though it was brand new) and the whole cooking experience, that felt really retro…so I went with it!
